DR. KENT LIN
“I am committed to providing holistic and evidence based care to women, both during their pregnancy and at any other stage of life when gynaecological issues arise.”

Extensive obstetric experience

My specialist training commenced in Melbourne, where I had the privilege of working at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Australia’s first and largest specialist women’s hospital. This involved excellent opportunities in managing complex obstetric patients, along with extensive birth suite experience.
In addition, I was exposed to a very diverse patient population, with the hospital providing care to women from 189 countries. This invaluable experience has given me a strong appreciation for providing culturally appropriate care.
Specialty in Advanced Laparoscopy
(keyhole surgery)
I have a strong interest in gynaecology and in particular being able to offer women requiring surgery with minimally invasive options.
I have undertaken two fellowship programs in laparoscopic surgery.
Fellowship in world class units:
  • Centre for Advanced Reproductive Endosurgery in Sydney, a leading unit which has trained many eminent gynaecologists from all over the world.
  • Advanced endoscopic gynaecological oncology centre at the China Medical University Hospital in Taiwan, one of a few units around the world to participate in the novel program of uterine transplantation and I was privileged to be part of the innovative surgical team.

With these experiences, I have the skills to manage common cases to complex gynaecological surgery.
